<description>There are a couple decent local papers in print on Long Island still, though they tend to lean in one direction or the other on certain issues, politics for one, but they do serve their purpose and are of value. I would like to think I will be able to continue my ritual of retrieving the morning paper from my driveway every day, but clearly we are moving to a digital age. With so much more current and accurate information on just about anything, right at our fingertips, its hard not to foresee the death of the old fashioned news in print. Today we get our news delivered to our cellphone, never mind personal computers.</description>
